How do I set up my smartphone so the app can use my GPS location?

📍 Enable location access for CheckInAndOutAtWork

To correctly check in and out, the CheckInAndOutAtWork app needs access to your location. On some smartphones, this access is disabled by default. Below we explain how you can easily enable it.

🤖 Android

  1. Open Settings on your smartphone

  2. Go to Apps or Applications

  3. Find and select CheckInAndOutAtWork

  4. Tap Permissions

  5. Select Location

  6. Choose Allow all the time or Allow only while using the app

👉 Tip: Also make sure that Location Services are enabled on your device.

🍎 iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to Privacy & Security

  3. Tap Location Services

  4. Find CheckInAndOutAtWork

  5. Select Always or While Using the App

  6. Enable Precise Location (if available)

❗ Why is this needed?
The app uses your location only to verify that you are at the correct workplace when checking in and out. Your location is not continuously tracked.
